@RGTFM I normally don't take the time to read the comments on a video but today I did. Richard, you inspire people and I would venture to say you've even saved a few lives. Your videos kept my spirits up on several of my deployments to Afghanistan. You are doing God's work while catching loads of crappie. What a legend! The lord picks the most unsuspecting people to do his work. God bless you and momma Sue. I pray that all is well with you folks.

I love your videos Gene! I had to move from Florida about 12 years ago for family reasons and I dearly miss fishing in the canals, lakes and the ocean on both coasts. Hear in New England there's just not enough places to fish that are not stocked and overfished. Most times your videos make my life a lot easier. THANK_YOU!

This type of fishing reminds me of the way my Father in law and me would come in from fishing in the boat and clean the fish, go for lunch and fish the rip raft on the dams in Kentucky. Miss those days 😢big time Thanks for all you do to support and teach us all how to simplify things. 😂

My grandma taught me to fish with a long cane pole in the late 60’s. I never gave much thought to why my grandpa didn’t take me fishing until recently. He taught me about gardening because that garden was his love. I remember him trading vegetables for bass with his neighbors. It all makes sense in some ways now. Great video and thank you for teaching 👍👍👍
