I have the best father in the world and he passed on what he knew about fishing to my brother and me. We don't live close to the water here in SE KY so our time on the water has always been limited. Richard Gene has taken my knowledge base to a whole new level. I am catching fish now that i hadn't even thought about before RGTFM. Keep up the good work and I hope God continues to Bless you and yours.

I "loop" it a lot especially if there's current an moving the line in a bow past the float. Wind can push the float one way and the current can take the line another. Another lil trick I do,on windy days is cast and grab the line right before it hits to straighten it out. Then I dip the tip of the rod to the water real quick. This gets most of the slack/bow out of your line and gets it on the water quick to keep the wind from creating another bow.

Your always thanking everyone for supporting your channel but I just wanted to think you for sharing so much of your fishing knowledge with us. I use to only bass fish but I’ve ventured into some crappie fishing and you have helped me a great deal to get a few crappie in the boat. I haven’t been able to get out a fish lately my wife and I have been remodeling our house but soon very soon I’m gonna go out and get a line wet. Again God bless and thank you for your channel one day I’d would enjoy spending a day on the water with you. Thank you for your channel.

I am grateful beyond words that you teach fishing from the banks. That's the only way I can fish right now, I just have too many mobility issues to get on a boat safely. As I get more experience my darling hubby is going to rent a pontoon I can get my wheelchair or rollator parked on. Your videos are so enjoyable even though my sweetie doesn't like fish or fishing, he loves your videos! Thanks & Lord Bless!

Hi Mr. Richard. As always, this is another great teaching session. I know you have several other videos out on fishing from the bank, but I think these last two are the most recent. I really appreciate this as I do not have a boat. So have the latest and greatest is very helpful and inspiring. I will be adding that Nikko Pin Tail Worm to my lure box as well. Thank you again for always sharing these great techniques. God bless.

I use trout magnet corks, jigs and heads 64th and it's perfect for crappie and panfish. I too have honeyholes with sandy bottom, vegetation along a rip rap bank and whack them. funny thing is it's around the corner from where everyone fishes and have never seen anyone else hit it. Just like what you described RG.
