I wish I could take actual tours of universities, especially since it's a very important part of picking which university you'd want to go to. But COVID really got in the way of that. I just pray that I'm able to make the right decision!

@@sudhanshupandey614 Hey! I'm currently a student there right now actually. Sorry for the late response, but yeah, as of right now, it is still online. HOWEVER, we are set to be going to in-person practicals and tutorials (Labs and classes with TAs) by next month (February). When it comes to lectures, (due to the class size) some of them decided to stay online for now or for the remainder of the semester, while others have decided to have lectures in-person as well.

I was getting lots of emails from U of T and at first I didn’t want to go, but now I get the appeal and I was thinking of applying BUT I just found out that non Canadian residents have to pay like $45,000 tuition PER YEAR (I live in the US) vs the $5,900 that residents pay 😢 I was really thinking of going for the beautiful campus and bc their best known major is architecture and I want to study architecture

Honestly, it's a better option to study in the US for you because there isn't a lot of difference to study in Canada. Many other international students are from developing countries or underdeveloped countries and they apply to universities in North America or Europe for a better environment and quality of education.

Great question, so the requirements will be different depending on what student you are. So an international student and a domestic student will have different requirements and for domestic students these requirements will differ between different provinces in Canada as well. So I would definitely recommend you to go visit RC website for more information. I hope I was able to answer your questions and if you have any further questions please let me know. Great question, so there are a lot of foreign students in UofT so I would guess the difficulty of getting into UofT as a foreigner will be the same as domestic students. However this may not be true for master’s program so I would recommend you to reach out to the university about this question as well.
