Nicely done my guy, this video really cleared my misconceptions about U of T being a cold commuter college where you make no friends. Hope to be a freshman this year! (I got accepted for Computer Science)

I watched ur videos when I applied to uoft and now I am a first year student in math faculty! So far I think everything went well but I don't feel like I'm a part of uoft yet since it's all online. Also I found it's really hard to make friends or participate in activities:( I hope this pandemic over soon so that I can actually be on the campus. thanks for the awesome video!

First of all congratulations and I completely agree with you, I really hope this pandemic goes away soon. Regardless of online school I hope you have a great first year!

@@HISANY83 Thanks Khairatun! I know there're lots of discord server or Instagram or messenger gc and I'm even in some of them, but I just feel like I don't belong to UofT :/ I met new friends and upper year students through online but not in person, so that may be the reason. And it seems the second wave is gonna hit GTA, which really sucks. I just miss outdoor activities :(

@ 물냉면 Hi! I am applying to university of toronto this year and I really want to study math. Could you please tell me about your experience in the course, if you're fine with it?
@yewon61604 жыл бұрын
@@bandanabajaj5215 Hi! That's really exciting! and I really hope you get in :) I can tell the university math are not like math classes in high school, and they are "university" level. They don't 'teach', but they 'help' us understand by ourselves. The difficulty depends on the course but generally, they are reasonably challenging. The most important point is that there are lots of resources to save us from the trap of failing if you try to get help. Also I feel the math professors are nice and open, so far it's been really good (but my mark might not reflect my satisfaction ;)) if you have more questions, I'm happy to answer them! My ig is @aprilyw :) good luck to ur admission!

Haha I am glad to hear that you enjoyed this video. Since I am not an international student I didn't have to take any SAT exams. So I will have to recommend you to contact the university about this question. I am sorry that I couldn't help you but I wish you all the best!

Hey Richard, I had a quick question about Rotman Commerce. What would you say is the acceptance rate into Rotman/What classes or extra-curriculars should I take to maximize my chances of getting in?
@luka.pilasanovic4 жыл бұрын
just have an avg around 90 and you should get in.

Great question, I personally think finding extracurricular activities that shows your strengths is very important. This will obviously be different for everyone but really try to look for some extracurricular activities that brings our your strengths👍👍!
