This had me in tears when I first heard it. Makes me think of my late Dad coming home after a shift at British Steel. I can almost smell the metal and tobacco.

Honestly Richard, I think this is one of the most beautiful songs that you ever wrote, and that I have ever listened to.

I like Richard but actually this is a very poor track. I'll listen to the rest of the album but so far I am not impressed

No it isn't! Sadly I think BMG I'll behind all these comments. It is not a bad album it really isn't very good

@@IanPortlandHill-de6vq you just have poor taste, that's all. Everyone who has taste think it's one of his best albums. I am real and not paid by anyone.

What a song. What. A. Song. It reminds me of the similarly contemplative and ruminative ‘A Ghost I Became’ by Richmond Fontaine.

Oh dear. Everyone is saying this is great album. I can only think the record company is behind it. The songs are not bad but they really are not good. An album that really no one should buy

I just picked up one of my guitars to learn and play along with this song and it’s basically a (G)major to an (a) minor until the bridge that changes to a (c) major and then back to (g) major; other than that I think towards the end the last few (a) minors change to a major. As a songwriter I have to say these songs that musically might be a bit simplistic but yet the vocal Melodie’s are much more complex have to be some of the hardest songs to write! One of my favorites from this latest collections of his songs.

Really digging this new album. I think it’s his best since Hollow Meadows.
