I live nearby and fish there regularly. There is a hole filled with trout a couple hundred yards down stream from the dam. Best lures to use there are definitely rooster tails. I've caught a few 20 inch trout there. Good size blue catfish live around there too

I’m going there tomo for my first time and I have a few questions if you would answer them, do the trout live in there all throughout the winter? Is it a good place to fly fish that’s what imma be doing? And how often do they stock it if you know?

Trout are there all winter. It's a great place to fly fish! They released really big rainbows recently and I've seen four different ones caught! Should be a great day, I'm jealous
