That's Barkley power bait for trout in the pink color... That's a number 6 eagle claw bait holder hook!

Definitely not known for our trout considering there are no native species of trout in Tennessee except for the char, better known as a brookie!!

We had high pressure the last couple of days. It's always tough with high pressure. That moves out tomorrow. Should be good fishing during the rain 🌧️🌧️

Went there Friday and only caught little stockers and blue gills. It’s a trip how you cast down river and the water will move your bait back up by the dam. 😂😂

I used to live right next to the Duck river and yes it has some nice big trout in it.. I used to catch them on grasshoppers.. nice trout 👍👍

I wish it wasn't so far away from me! Murfreesboro just doesn't have any good fishing LOL we make do with a small mouth and the winter stockers of trout but that's about it

I've never seen crappie caught in the duck river from the dam to the fisherman's park dam in Shelbyville. Have you caught or seen / heard of them being caught from the Dam in Normandy where your at to the Shelbyville Dam?

They are few and far between but there's a handful of them in there. I saw one caught not far from the dam when I was kayaking earlier this year

This was Monday morning. My dad already smoked the trout and he is making smoked trout dip for thanksgiving! I always pick up other people's trash when I go fishing but it just dawned on me to include a short clip in the videos. I think it helps encourage other people to do the same. Have a better Thanksgiving 😊
