For those comenting on Linda's sub-par performance, I am pretty sure this was the time when I saw them in London (Shaw Theatre), when Richard and Linda were in the process of breaking up, and apparently not speaking to each other. It's been described as 'the tour from hell'.

Consider yourself lucky. I want to see RT live so bad. I just found out RT played 28 miles away from me but I was working and had no idea he was even coming to my state until too late! : (

I mean, there's fault to go around. I can't help feeling horrible for Linda. She looks so tired.

Happy Birthday Linda Thompson born on August 23, 1947. She is an English folk rock singer. Thompson is one of the most recognised names and voices in the British folk rock movement of the 1970s and 1980s, in collaboration with fellow British folk rock musician, guitarist Richard Thompson, to whom she was married for ten years, and later as a solo artist. - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linda_Thompson_(singer)

For anybody complaining about Lindas performance, this performance should be about the time she started to have her vocal chord problems due to a disease I’ve forgotten the name of.
@Lomedae6 ай бұрын
Indeed, spasmodic dysphonia is the disease, first symptoms started in 72.

This line up was the infamous 'tour from hell' when Richard and Linda were splitting up. I saw them in London and you could feel the tension, but the music was great. Who is it playing 12 string electric? Wonderful John Kirkpatrick on accordian, of course.
