Yes you can but I personally don't refurbish iPhone screens. I have iPhone screens sent out to a refurbishing company .

Its hot AF. Will burn you. If using a hair dryer, just have to blow on it longer.

Good as a teardown vid but what about reprogramming the screen so you don't loose true tone or other functionality. Should really have new sealant as well.

just one thing, shouldn't the battery cover be taken off first and disconnect the battery and then do the other cover on the motherboard?

This phone doesn't have a battery cover like Samsung do. With iPhones, the way you get into the insides is underneath the screen.

I was talking about the battery cable cover. I always disconnect the battery before removing the motherboard cover.

Really hot and keep is close. Like 2 inches away. The heat gun that I use doesnt have a temperature guage.

My iPhone 11 lost “tap to wake” function after screen replacement. Is that because of the error of “genuine screen” and it’s true for every iPhone 11 with replaced screen or I just bought crappy screen. Your opinion?

Its the screen you bought. The genuine screen message has nothing to do with the phones function. The screen you bought is probably the lower aftermarket and doesn't have tap to wake function built in.

You mean the water resistant adhesive? No. Once the seal is broken, its not water resistant anymore. The aftermarket adhesive doesn't do anything either. Its not the same foam adhesive that Apple uses.

You have to buy a waterproofing seal made for your iphone model. You can buy one from Amazon for under $5

I dont know how that would work havent thought about it. California as of midnight has been under ordered quarantine. I do have my inventory. I removed them from my store in case of break ins. If I would have to drive to a post office, I'm sure its closed for retail walk ins.
