Multiplex Heron - Maiden flight

Hi Richard, Just watched your video on the Heron maiden flight . I’m in the uk and getting back into flying after a couple of years off due to house move etc. So I realise your video is quite old now. I found your review very informative and reassuring as I have the Solius and haven’t yet flown it but no doubt the Heron has very similar characteristics. Moggywan if you are still looking for how to set up the variometer might I suggest a you tube search for Andrew Newton who has a simple short video solution.

Hi, Yes I have a Taranis 9XD Transmitter the vario is connected to the smart port of the X8R receiver When vario is switched on the light blinks but nothing shows on the telemetry screen

Hi Richard, Could you please tell me how to set up the FrSky vario, I have one installed but don't know how to set up the transmitter so I can assign it to a switch and be able to hear the sound. I dont have the open source companion software so need to know how to do it on the TX I haven't been able to find a video that shows this, would be a good one for you to do?
