I'm certain that there are more than just I who would consider 90 minutes of your shared wisdom anything but tedious. I enjoy every word and frame.

Great work Richard, we all learn all the time, this project learned me few key stuff to change on next winged box.

Very nicely done Richard. I love the wood. Very unusual. Nice shape to the bowl. Your version is wider than Mikes. I like it. I haven't seen the other two yet. The four of you always do so well. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.🙂🙂

It was pretty hair-raising to watch you cut the bead on the underside. I thought for sure you were going to get a catch. What a wonderful result! Another master class!

Very nice, complex and logical procedure. The result is a original and artistic box; ...in fact is more than a box, is a beautiful ornament. Keep going, Richard, never stop, please.

Mr Raffan, I add my vote to the "post your 90 minutes on box #1" side. Not just 90 minutes of Richard Raffan, but 90 minutes of you learning? I'd probably watch it many times.

After hours of editing I binned it. I was all over the place working out what to do and producing a vaguely coherant video proved to be beyond me.

Красиво сделано! Интереснее делать подобные шкатулки из куска ветки. Получаются работы с натуральным краем! Я делал подобное из ветки диаметром 10 см..

Great video, the end result looks like a flying saucer from a 1950s film ......................... but so many adverts 🤨

The usual excellent tutorial and interesting that in 53 years this is the first time you turned a winged bowl, but made it look easy as usual. What type of wood is that?
@RichardRaffanwoodturning15 сағат бұрын
Tasmanian tiger myrtle.

You seem to be using shark jaws on most of your many recent videos is this by choice or the best tool for the job you are doing at the time???

Did you have any trouble with flex while turning the wings? The way you did it seemed pretty rigid.
@RichardRaffanwoodturning15 сағат бұрын
No problems with flexing that I recall. You see all the turning as it happened.
