I was at his shop and watched him attempt to destroy one of those knives. He stabbed an oil barrel repeatedly. Put it in a vise and bent the hell out of it. Nothing damaged that dam thing.

Im fortunate have several of Kevin's blades from the 90s, and I will say that they all fit my hand like a glove. The most comfortable grip I have ever felt on a knife. I will say, I've never really put them through any hard tests or anything, but the minute I held one I knew there was something special about these knives. I would like to see a video of him discussing the frequent flyer carbon fiber knives he made though as well, I haven't been able to get much info about those, but they are just fascinating. They're obviously not nearly as comfortable as the other 'true' knives, but they obviously serve a different purpose. Great video, and it's always cool to see Kevin in his natural habitat.
