I have a question if you can answer. On my proheat 2x keeps breaking on left side smaller belt . Model 1383 I keep my cleaner very clean. No hair no strings nothing is stuck on the roller or any where . The belt breaks within five to ten min. I have tried several deferent belts . Is their maybe a certain belt that’s better ?

What kind of carpet are you trying to use it on? Is it a super thick carpet or rug?

@@richardsvacuumcenter no not realy not think it’s a place am renting and it’s been here for six years I would say but no . If you put your finger down into the rug it covers just the tip of your finger and am a girl so that’s not much at all . Iam pretty handy with things and I be scrapping and breaking things down motors and all so I usually can figure things out but not this time . Could they just be cheap belts I got them on Amazon twice they came two pair in a pack . Cause the brush rolls fine when I spin it with my hand . This last time right before the belt broke I heard a weird sound and I knew right away that the belt was going to break and it did. Should the belt be tight when you put it on because it seemed a little loose

I never seen the Bissell belts on Amazon but I order parts from Bissell before. the front plastic cover where the rollers are seems to break often . It just a little piece of plastic no big deal but I like taking care of my things so I order one One or two from there. I got a feeling thats what it is . Thank you for your time and help. If an able I try to send some business your way but summer over and thats when people come to the beach.

Hi! Great video! I have a Pro Heat 2x w: 2 in 1 tank (9200 model). I am not getting spray from the big tank to the floor (on rinse or soap setting) but hose attachment works fine for spray & suction. I cleaned all nozzles, tubes & even heater(which was pretty bad). Suction is fine, rollers spinning & machine is well maintained. Are there any connections that impact spray that may have wiggled loose during cleaning? I tried priming pump by turning on for 1 min & then using trigger but nothing happens. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Most common issue is clogged heater. Sounds like you addressed that already. If heater is cleared then move to checking the sprayer tips and the solenoid valve

Thank you- great video. My big belt over-heated and left some hard melted residue on both ends of the rollers. How can I clean them so the new belt doesn't break?

Some times the melted plastic will chip right off. Might be possible to salvage your brushes but they could just need to be replaced.

I know this is an older video but I have a Bissell 2X heat pet revolution model 1551w. I cannot find the left small/short cog belt! I ordered a belt from Amazon according to the model number. It does not fit. It doesn’t stretch at all so there is no way to put it around the cog wheel and pin. I cannot find a replacement belt anywhere. The Bissell website does not have it. Apparently other ppl have ordered from Amazon and have the same issue with the belt not fitting. Where can I find one? Thank you

There are 3 belts in this machine: Rubber motor/pump belt: 1606428 Left (from standpoint of the user of machine) brush belt: 1606418 Right brush belt (connects the back brush to front brush): 1606419

I have the same one but not getting suction on the bottom part but I am on the tool wand. I turn the dial to carpet but suction. I cleaned it and took it apart cleaned the filter and nozzle on the front. Still no suction??? What am I over looking? Can the drive belt cause it to not have suction on the carpet part? Still have suction on the tool wand?

drive belt would not have any relation to your suction issue. not sure what your issue is. sorry it's hard to help online with things like this!

i am curious if you can answer a question that nobody including bissell can answer, my bissell premier deep clean will spin the rollers the moment i turn it on but after a second or two they stop. The fact that both brushes spin freely and as they should that tells me the belts are intact and that the rollers are not obstructed by debris leaving me baffled as to why they would suddenly stop. I have seen a billion videos and articles and not once is this ever brought up so i figured I would ask you. If you do reply thank you ahead of time. Thanks, Shane

Probably not. No spray is usually a clogged heater or a bad valve.

Hey there! I borrowed my parent's bissell pro heat lift off deep clean pet and we cannot get the brushes to line up with the belts. There is a gold screw that goes into one of the brushes and that falls out? Everytime we put it all back on the brushes move around and the belt comes off. Please help😂

You need to take that gold screw to the pawn shop and get some money for it! 😂 Jk I’m not sure how to help you on this. I don’t know of a Bissell with a screw that goes into the brush roll itself.

Hey do you know how to remove the bottom part that holds the brush rolls with the belt and it has the metal poles attached?

The non motor side has a clear cover as well with 2 screws. Remove that clear cover and it will give access to that axle assembly

Great video. I have same or similar model (had it for ~20-25 yrs). I have disassembled, cleaned, checked belts many times, so I am pretty familiar. Just now, my machine stopped dispensing clean water from the 2-in-1 tank. It does dispense the cleaning solution from small tank. Machine has good suction, brush rollers turn when machine is on and handle is back. I checked to make sure the poppet in the valve at the bottom of the water tank moves freely. Any ideas? This model is so old, most online "help" is geared toward newer units. I will gladly send you a gernerous donation via paypal if you can offer some help that gets me up and operational again. @@richardsvacuumcenter Yes Update: Called Bissell toll free product support line. Went through additional troubleshooting. Turned out the white plastic spray nozzles on the ends of the black rubber feeder tubes in the base were clogged. Cleaned them with an old toothbrush and got back to work!

handle needs to be in back position for brushes to turn. did you test it with handle back or locked upright? for suction you need to check the little red screen inside your top cover of the recovery tank. it's rectangular and usually gets hair stuck in it and will reduce suction significantly.

I think it burnt off with the belt. I only have one shaft that is not attached to the brush roll .the other is stuck Inside of the brush roller
