A great watch with a very knowledgeable guide. The kind of person I'd like along on all my walks - together with a birder/naturalist/archaeologist/geologist etc.😒 Though sometimes walking on my own is the best way! What a great legacy the nursery has left. Thanks Richard and David

Thank you! I've just started to develop an interest in identifying tree species and its good fun to see a couple of blokes rambling about in the woods looking at trees.

Redwoods.grow in Northern CA & the SW corner of OR. They prefer coastal mountains, except where the Sequoias National park trees grow near the Sierra Nevadas. The tallest one recorded is 379 ft tall & they live 100's of yrs. It is quite spectacular to stand in a forest of them. The ones in the Red Wood National Forest/Park it takes several people to put their arms around to hug. Julia would be in heaven!!!🌲
