When he signed for Everton he seemed really really excited and happy and it was surprising. Not the normal cliche happy to be here stuff, but like genuine excitement. Now i can see why. He's not an academy kid with his whole career mapped out, he's a street kid, he plays almost with a desperation, like if he doesn't work his arse off it could all end. And he's grateful, properly grateful for the chance to play. I already love the guy. One comment says it all really. "He's a proper Everton player". Who said that ? Seamus Coleman. Another proper Everton player. Hard work beats talent if talent doesn't work hard. This kid is a grafter. He can lift others including the crowd.
