Well Tepper is not good at explaining and it shows that he’s not a very good owner. From my point of view I don’t think it was franks fault that Bryce young is struggling. Im not going to compare Bryce to Cj because here where you realize that maturity matters and Stroud has that as soon as he stepped in the nfl and had his first test with the Ravens and lost but during the game in the 3rd quarter he showed Glimpses of what he was capable. Then after that game he got better and better fixing the mistakes. I’m sorry but Bryce Young needs to mature to get better and seems he’s having problems learning. I just wish him the best and feel bad in the situation that he’s in.

There was a whole week of the Texans, Panthers, and Bears trying to work out a three way trade. After a few days panthers decided to pull the trigger regardless of Texans and added Dj Moore to the Chicago trade, allowing them to get to #1 without texans involvement. Panthers wanted to keep Moore but Chicago refused Chinn and a CB(probably jackson) and countered either an extra 1st, Dj Moore. Or Brian Burns.

For those who are confused. What happened was, the Panthers GM was in talks with bears to trade the #9 for the bears pick AFTER the bears trade with the Texans. So in theory, bears and Texans switch picks panthers trade from 9-2 Texans pick Bryce panthers pick CJ #2, however the Texans backed out of the trade last moment which ended up making us have to throw DJ Moore into the deal and ultimately get Bryce instead of CJ. This is what Tepper was getting at. But you gotta be in the know to be in the know. Also frank needed to be fired him a deuce were collecting a check in Charlotte and hurting Bryce's development.

Josh said that to CJ in terms of him visiting and them shooting hoops lol. That conversation is being taken out of context. It had nothing to do with them drafting him. It was solely about them playing basketball together when he visits the Panthers pre draft.

Rich is wrong and it is an easy answer. Tepper, after Reich was already hired, thought that the Bears were going to trade the #1 pick to the Texans, not dropping so much where they couldn't get Jalen Carter. Once Carter had his Combine Day news come out, Tepper thought that Chicago would be willing to trade down from #2 because the Bears are terrified of bringing in anybody with the least bit of red flags, since they had been burned by this before. At that point, everything aligned for Tepper to have the conversation that he mentioned. It seems that someone (Reich?) was extremely wanting Young and, thus, the Panthers did what they did and offered what they offered.

Other than Adam Thielen what star players do they have? I really don’t know, it was a bad roster when Baker was there, and since last year seems like it got worse but did get better coaching. Needs to draft better. Give the coach the players he wants. They could get Caleb Williams and trade Young for a good receiver or OLine idk what need, I’m sure a lot. Reich is not that bad of the coach is he?

I don't think it's being mentioned enough how Tepper said the decision to take Bryce was "almost" unanimous. He tried to backtrack it but it was already out there. It goes to show how much dysfunction is in that organization that the biggest decision in franchise history wasn't signed off by everyone, or at least the people that matter.

Rich at least do some research before talking about Matt Rhule’s dead money: Rhule agreed to an eight-year contract worth more than $74 million to coach Nebraska. The deal is backloaded, however. Rhule is slated to make $28 million in the first four years. So it's possible the Panthers' bill for Rhule could be as little as $6 million thanks to his new job and contract.

A revolutionary philosophy: Forget the big swings. Build your team with the goal of winning ten games every year. Succeed at that, and you'll be in the mix almost every year. Hit the over a few times, and you'll make some deep runs and bag a couple titles. Get lucky with a QB, and you'll have a dynasty. But you'll never have to bet the farm on a dart throw.

I don't believe he misspoke, I believe he stuck his foot in his mouth. I'm a fan of the team and follow fairly close. There were questions during the HC hiring process about Reich's daughter being brought in before him, because the fans wanted him to keep Wilks but he already made up his mind. Then, Tepper's wife was put on the QB scout team without training and got in trouble. And at the combine, it looked like Reich & Fitterer were pretty taken by CJ Stroud while he was throwing. He's been way too involved.

It's pretty evident Bryce is hard to coach. He's 5'10 with a weak arm...subpar athleticism and isn't getting his pre snap reads right. Because of that....he's calling audibles and checking down or throwing screens. If the coach calls a play....you change it because you can't or won't execute it and still fail....you're uncoachable. What Bryce wants to do is fake the handoff and jog around in the backfield for 10 seconds like he did in college. Problem is....this is the NFL. Don't care what kind of OL they get him....Micah Parsons ain't going for that. TJ Watt ain't going for that. Nick Bosa ain't going for that. Frank knew this. Bryce fans won't accept it.

This shows Tepper doesn’t know what they’re doing being an owner of a team right now as he fired Frank! This is what being impatient gets you! We need to give coaches 2-3 years, 4 max for building a team and coaching them. Also we need to give QB’s the same time as well, they’re not going to be Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning as an example!
