It doesn't get much recognition, but I really, REALLY loved 'The Illusionist'.. I watched it twice in a row to catch the subtleties I missed... I thought it was a brilliant movie and performance.👍👍

I never watched it a second time. It came out the exact same time The Prestige came out and The Prestige is already the better movie by far, but some of the plot decisions in The Illusionist just felt so dumb. Now Norton was great in it, but he's always great.

He is only going to get better. Brilliant actor and when he talks, seems like a proper straight down the line guy who lives and breathes his characters. He is probably too honest to all the sensitive lovies and gets bad press. The man just says it as it is. Superb actor.

The color of money reference is a great one when i comes to a rounders 2. Huge fan of the hustler and the color of money to a lesser extent but still really liked watching it multiple times. Makes me want rounders 2!

Even though there's since been a Fight Club sequel graphic novel, I wouldn't WANT a movie sequel, and I'm a massive fan of that thing. And this hadn't occurred to me before, but it'd be interesting to see how his Primal Fear character is doing now, since he did get him off. How many more people has he killed, if at all.

ESPN needed cheap content to put on the air in a hurry and the WPT/WSOP hole-cam technology was sufficiently well developed by that time. Rounders is the single greatest (probably seminal) poker movie ever made, but the boom was fuelled by TV exposure in 04/05, not due to the movie...
