Thanks, Rich. My family moved to Orchard Park in 1963. My fifth-grade math teacher opened every class with a comment on how the Bills were doing. I became a fan in the OJ days with the Electric Company, even before the stadium came to O.P. I know exactly where I was when the kick went wide right in the first Super Bowl. The problem with Josh, and I say this as a Bills fan living in Buffalo, he is both the teams greatest asset and at times the curse. Three years ago Josh played almost a perfect postseason. Zero punts against NE and the shootout with KC. The :13 game was on the coaches for not squib kicking. That was the best he has ever been. But this season is looking spicey. Now, the next 3 games will be more telling. Give us 2 of those 3, leaving them 5-1 and that's another step up imo.

Diggs and Davis leaving the Bills squad was the best thing to happen for Josh Allen since he was drafted. Diggs always wanted the ball, but didn't always catch it, especially in clutch situations...then Diggs was high-paid, high-drama, negativity inside the locker room. Davis ran wrong routes, cost Allen a number of INT's, etc. And stop comparing Patrick to Josh...they're not on the same planet talent-wise. Patrick is in a well-versed offensive system supported by coaches with decades of NFL experience combined with NUMEROUS SB wins. Josh Allen has often CARRIED the entire Bills team on his back...he alone has been the reason the Bills are competitive. This year the Bills look like they've fixed the system around Josh, and the Defense is finally carrying their weight as well...watch out, because the Bills with a KC-like "system" in place with Josh Allen at the helm are an unstoppable juggernaut. They'll roll over KC if they stay on track. I want everyone to think about this...TRADE Patrick and Josh, put Josh on KC and Patrick on the Bills...Josh on KC would be an insurmountable nightmare for every NFL team. Patrick on Buffalo? Bills would be a 9-8 team, at best.

To be fair, Diggs was an outstanding clutch receiver until mid-way through last season. While Davis has always been a 50% catch rate guy. But it should definitely help Josh to have guys with very high catch rates, versus having his #2 guy dropping half his passes, and Diggs starting to do the same last season. As I've heard it, Shakir is near the point of breaking the NFL consecutive passes caught record. So to say, it's awesome for Allen having a primary receiver who is always running the correct route and always holds on to the ball.

There was a reason that Buffalo GM Brandon Beane was anxious to get rid of him for some lower-level draft picks. @@RageDaug Part of the problem with any highly-paid, high-stakes WR is I believe NFL teams pressure their QB's to get those WR's the ball as much as possible. They fear the WR's will seek other teams otherwise, or cause drama like Diggs did on many occasions...it's just added pressure. Diggs likely put a lot of pressure on Allen to get him the ball all the time, and I'm guessing Allen missed a lot of opportunities fearing he'd get a load of rage from Diggs if he didn't get the ball to him enough. Then of course Diggs checked himself out onto the sidelines most of the games in the 2nd half of the season.

As a Bills fan, I’m very happy with these first 3 weeks. Offense has looked explosive, on the ground and through the air, defense has looked pretty good since week 1, especially with Von finding his way back. But I hate the part of me that can’t help but think of January. All of this will be for naught, if we can’t beat the Chiefs. And it must be the Chiefs. Even if we won the Super Bowl, but didn’t beat the Chiefs on the way there, we still wouldn’t be respected. It must happen.

I honestly wasn't worried about Buffalo going into this season. I picked them to win the division. They have Josh Allen. The weapons are underrated. They have a great o-line. McDermott is a great defensive coach who will help out the defense in spite of their losses. I'm not a Bills fan, but I'm rooting for them out of an admiration for Allen and the way they play. rich please fix that high frequency pitch. It's an issue with your mic, I know this because it only comes on when the you activate the microphones gate with your voice and you can hear it faintly after you stop talking. I will literally process all of the audio for the show for free for life to get rid of it. No clue who edits this this but you can also just add a single band eq to isolate the frequency and turn its gain all the way down and it'll remove the ring without noticeable loss in quality. Please though, fix this somehow, anyhow, I feel like a dog

What this shows is that the concept of "high priced WR" needs to go the way of "high priced RB". You need a good offensive line, a QB who can make the throws, and a coach who can call good plays. There are lots of receivers who can do damage if you have those three things. Look at Mahomes not missing a beat when Hill left. Oline allows the QB to be great. QB allows the receivers to be great. Coach allows the offense to be great.
