Born at IGAVA farm in Marondera , there was Ruzawi country club were sports Polo cross, Scramble etc were held we even go to see small planes landing and taking-off fantastic

My hometown, born and raised there. Left Primary school then came back for high school at Peterhouse Boys. My mother still lives there and my youngest sister goes to Springvale house. I myself should be home soon this upcoming year from my current base in the US, with my wife and new born son.I’m sure both will love this little paradise! Thank you for this video. I lived in Marondera for about 18 months, between 2003 and 2005, whilst working at Marondera hospital. I loved its quietness and its proximity to Harare, where all my friends and family lived. Both my brothers attended Peterhouse in the 80s/early 90s, so there was also that connection 🙂

ohh my hometowm marondera, our farm is makumbe farm opposite surrey farm. but we have another house in dombotombo . i love it ,its so peaceful,but havent been home in years and i can see developments there. thanks mr zim .keep doing a great job.were excatly is the new mall built? i also saw a new zinara building..nice one

Marondera has changed so much more from the time I first visited the town in 1994. One thing I still remember prominently back then was a sudden change in extreme weather! It became freezing cold from nowhere! Could almost see frost forming!! Thanks Mr Zim for helping me see the beautiful country of Zimbabwe in general and Marondera in particular!

Harare is overcrowded... get that part first. People from all over the country are in Harare for hustle, business and it seems to be where its "happening." Marondera is not overcrowded hence the decay is not as bad as Harare and of course city council in Htown hardly does anything significant but the issue is Harare yakawandirwa

Marondera is nice,I remember playing cricket with Marondera,beat them😅 at lendy park Primary School back in the days.that was a match to remember,we wre fighting to be prompted to 3rd League and we won the match,we had fun. Kuwadzana Cricket Club(KCC) 2001---2002 league .

Marondera is still beautiful. I think I might prefer it to Harare. I used to spend a lot of time there when the children were at school. We sent them there from Europe because we couldn't find anything abroad that compared to our top Zim schools.
