This completely broke my heart to watch because all I kept thinking about was how Rebekah was Hope's surrogate mother for the best part of an entire year when she was an infant. She was the one that fed, changed and clothed her and took care of her totally alone while Klaus and Hayley worked to make New Orleans safe for her. To see her become this monster, who is pretty much boasting about how she's going to be just as selfish and careless as Klaus had once been but just with fewer mistakes, must have been such torture for Rebekah. Especially when Hope used "always and forever" as a weapon to hurt her.

Wow! Bringing Rebekah back for this was rather anticlimactic. She made very little effort to reach Hope and seemed rather unprepared/awkward dealing with her niece. I hope this isn't the end of her visit. I feel like Freya would be more effective in dealing with Hope. Freya definitely makes the tough decisions and comes up with the last minute saves. She stopped Lucien and created the dagger against Marcel. However, neutralizing Hope will probably be as simple as bringing Landon back from the dead.

Yeah they did the mental torture when someone turned of their humanity, but that was a vampire such as Elena, Caroline and/or Stefan...we're talking about the OG family here. And as far as I know (or can remember), there hasn't been one single moment where any of them have had their humanities switched off. True, they're all pretty unhinged on a bad day, but that doesn't mean that they ever had a period where the show runners took us through what happens when THEY turn theirs off, so it's probably a whole different ballgame...add to the fact that Hope is now a Tribrid (Vamp, Wolf & Witch), which is a new species and she's the only one of her kind. I have NO clue how they plan to try to get her to switch her emotions back on, but I do hope they go a new route seeing how it's a new set of rules.

I am surprised the remaining Mikealsons gave up on Hope so easily especially considering the lengths they would go to for each other in TO ik hope is a whole new kind danger but that never stopped them from protecting eachother in the past & if anyone could find a way of reaching her or subduing her it would be them. That was pointless to bring Rebekah back for such a bad storyline.. They chitchat about family and power, she hasn’t tried very much to bring her niece’s humanity back and just give up that easy with a little threat from her niece, doesn’t sound like the Rebekah we used to know.. Not to mention her original vampire ability being diminished by a simple vampire. Didn’t except a lot from Legacies, really messing with all storylines
