A formidable talent sadly gone. I went to the cinema to see the Woodstock film in anticipation of seeing my favourites like The Who and Jimi Hendrix but this is who left an indelible mark on me. Thankfully we have his legacy on clips like this

I can’t say that this was the performance but Richie was very well respected and this maybe is the night that Zappa joined him onstage in his goofy fur coat and they stoned the house. Was good to be young in NYC

Just watched some netflix movie about basketbal and putting the game back in the players hands and not being controlled by the people up there in the box. At the end of the movie this songs playing while the movie implies to read The rovolt of the black athlete. So, Guess I will read the book and listen to more of this artists music.
