The first time I l saw this back in the day I figured it was an animator it something by the way he was drawn and the fact that it was 90’s Simpsons and they were depicting a realistic Japanese-American who wasn’t a caricature but someone you imagine going to college with. Trust me, your barely see that now on The Simpsons. This character doesn’t seem like something the writers would ever come up with on their own. It wasn’t until later that I realized it was Richard Sakai.
