Wow, this was such an amazing interview! As a huge Richie Sambora fan, I have to say this was one of the best Richie interviews I've seen in years. Richie is not only my guitar hero and songwriting inspiration, but he's also like a polish brother to me. Howie did such a great job really letting Richie open up and share his passion for music. I'm so grateful I got to watch this - it was a true treat for any Richie fan. Thank you Howie and Richie for this wonderful, insightful conversation!

Amazing intervie!!! 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I loooove Richie!!!!! 😍😍❤️❤️❤️🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 He’s one of the real ones and always SO kind and humble even though he’s a rock star but there’s no eho at all!! And he’s SO SMART and talented and can have a deep conversation but also has a great sense of humor and is sooo funny too!! He’s the whole package and as real as they cone! ❤️❤️❤️ And I can truly say that yes, he can play anything just like that!! He’s a TRUE musician!! I saw him play live several times during his solo tour and each concert was different because Richie was able to feel out the audience and how the audience was reactibg and would play louder or softer depending how people were reacting and he conducted the audience too so it was like you were a part of the performance and participating which made it even more special and fun!! The BEST shows I’ve ever been to!!! 😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️ Write ”Richie Sambora Circus Krone Munich 2012” and watch that whole concert….Just AMAZING, BRILLIANT show abd an AMAZING musician!! The whole band was on FIRE!! 😍😍🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 And it was all LIVE too, none of the lip synching crap!!! Also everyone needs to check out Richie’s solo albums!!! (Stranger In This Town, Undiscovrred Soul and Aftermath of the Lowdown) They’re even better than the Bon Jovi stuff!!! 😍😍😍👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 GO RICHIE!!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

I met Richie Sambora over 20 years ago in Melbourne Australia and he is still the same as what ur seeing with Howie! He’s funny, he’s humble and he signed my entry ticket and I called him a bloody legend! 😂 it was awesome to see Richie in the doco series but I also found it sad Richie apologies for doing what a good father would do - be there for their family 😢 I was recently seeing he’s daughter Ava happy engaged and her proud dad talking highly about his future son in law! So proud to see how Richie is sooooo happy and still hoping one day he will be back with bon jovi in any way he happily can ❤

Richie is probably the most underestimated musician there is. He is SO TALENTED, more talented than he gets credit for, and a TRULY, GENUINLY humble guy. Really authentic and KIND and yes….EXTREMELY smart!! And a GREAT dad too!!! His daughter Ava has a Master’s degree in psychology. Not only is Richie humble and kind and smart and talented, so is his daighter. Definitely not a spoilt Hollywood brat. Richie actually left Bon Jovi to be wirh his daughter. No fane or money was more important than his daughter to him and I will FOREVER respect him and love him for putting his daughter and family first!!! 🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️ He got so much slack for it but in my book THAT is what a TRUE ROCKSTAR is…being there for your family when they need you…NO.MATTER.WHAT!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Havent been able to watch yet but looking forward to it. I read the headline about there being more than two albums of stuff ready, and really hope Richie releases it asap. I definitely still have time for albums these days still and I know Im not alone. And to be honest, as convenient as it is to release singles these days, I didnt know about the song “We’ll Get By” til about 10 days after its release when I stumbled upon it by chance, and that is an instant favourite song. Totally love it! So im maybe in the minority, and no one will ever see this anyway, but please release albums!!!

I grew up in Indiana idolizing Richie, Prince, and Lindsey Buckingham. They have been massive influences in my own music. In May of this year I finally (manifested) met Richie in Point Pleasant and he was nice enough to sign my Sambora Strat. Dude was absolutely as nice as could be too when he didn't have to take the 5 min to talk to me and sign the guitar. They say never meet your idols. I disagree. Made my musical life.

This is the most coherent I have heard Richie be, in years! It's great to see/hear. Now if Jon can get his voice back and they get back together (and get rid of Shanks) all will be great with the world again :) We need the writing and singing of Bon Jovi and Sambora again!

This was great, thanks team, Richie is wonderful, natural, funny and very knowledgeable, great interview! To still remember skiffle (he called it skittle, which is funny) is amazing. As Richie says, it was a forerunner of rock n roll in the uk, but it was very basic & 'DIY', so people would eg use washboards and tea chests as instruments! In that way I guess it was also a forerunner of Punk in encouraging everyone to play (but in a much more polite way! I'm sure it encouraged my Dad to play, too). Lonnie Donegan was the most famous 'mainstream' skiffle artist I think.

Great interview, love Richie. But I have to correct him on two things. 1. )The Beatles played on Ed Sullivan for the first time on February 9, 1964, not 1963 and 2.) the music he was talking about was Skiffle, not Skittle. Skittles are candy and Skiffle is a genre of folk music with influences from American folk music, blues, country, bluegrass, and jazz

When you've been a musician for 40+ years, you can learn a song on guitar just by hearing it on the radio. You don't even need to pick the guitar up to learn it, 95% of songs anyway.

I think Ritchie is getting like I am in my older years. My short term memory isn't as good as it once was. He seems to at times lose track of what he's talking about a little. Not all the time but it seems that way to me. Perhaps it's a reflection on his past lifestyle but I don't think he was really an excessive user of mind altering things. Maybe I'm totally wrong and he's just been that way all of his life and it's part of his genius? Because he is one of the great ones IMHO. Really a great guy and going on strong at his age yet too!
@nitro_001newman24 күн бұрын
Ritchie fails to mention Desmond Child was involved in writing “Livin’ on a Prayer.” Also Tommy isn’t Ritchie and his six string guitar. It’s actually Desmond whose real name is John or Johnny. Jon Bon Jovi didn’t want the song to sound like he’s singing about himself. So they went with “Tommy” instead of “Johnny.” Gina is a real person too. Gina Velvet was a waitress that I believe Desmond was friends with. Desmond is gay, so I don’t know if Gina was actually his girlfriend, and he was trying to be straight at the time. Maria Vidal was actually her real name but she went by Gina Velvet her waitress name.
