As a Wisconsin fan, literally any of the guys we're getting in the portal would be good candidates for a video. So many lower level guys. Mark Hamper seems like a pretty cool story to be putting up 20 yards per catch on volume as a 0 star freshman. The staff is also working on trying to get Dwight Lewis from the NAIA level and he's blowing up with D1 offers too.

I try and try and try to talk to young guys and tell them to just go to FCS or D2 D3 and ball out. If you play hard somebody D1 going to get you. Don’t just go D1 and sit 3 years and waste time when you can be putting out film and getting experience. It’s so many schools out there. This online stuff just a tool to the next level when you can play. In my day I didn’t know about all these smaller schools but with social media you can choose to go anywhere man.

Super happy for the guy. It's true! D3 players get no respect or love from higher divisions as it's very rare of FCS on down to go to the NFL or get drafted. There are gems out there, scouts/teams just need to look at the player's film and abilities. Will be keeping an eye out on his journey at Wisconsin.

When I played NAIA my team (morningside) would beat d3 schools. So yeah people disrespecting lower level schools really show they haven’t played. Talent is everywhere. I personally didn’t have mentorship and didn’t know what signing day was lol. So I lost out on my d1-d2 offers. Oh well such is life and it all worked out

The way he’s playing is on 5 star recruit level just a notch above HS ball. He could easily get a scholarship at a top d1 school. Because HS players get them all the time.
