@@johnchavez8386 Sneakernomics and complex podcasts are good starts. They r not perfect and somewhat Nike heavy but as the current trend ‘hype’ is not ‘it’ anymore. As a sneaker head, it’s nice getting what u want and wear what u want. The new girl is already ahead of these old heads on the chanel with those red adidas and her fits. I was recently to San Diego and everyone was wearing sambas/ new balance with the cool kids had the collabs. Oh also Jacques Slade with hard pass.

Something I’m noticing with a lot of the sneaker KZbinrs, including this group, is they sorta stick in that Nike/jordan head world. This year is less about Nike/jordan, and more about other collabs. Like dudes didn’t even have the marvel kith ASICS, or the action Bronson 1906s, or the Jae tips sauconys, all which go way harder than almost all the sneakers on the table. If you wanna talk resale value, it’s in other brands rn

I have the Awake Airship collab and will be getting the blue pair once they drop. Airships are instantly comfortable, beautifully echoing that retro feeling from yesteryear.
