The AF1 has essentially transcended to the likes of the Converse Chuck and Vans Old Skool. It’s always wearable and will never die, but it won’t be hype or be a part of collabs for a while.

Tons or hyped af1s collabs what about Tiffany AF1s? Converse has gotten off white collab and vans old skool has gotten many like Supreme. They are recognized shoes.

@@AkatsukiShadow I'd say even the Tiffany AF1s isn't nearly as hyped as if they had done it a couple of years ago. Preme Forces aren't even selling out in stores, the vans collab was pretty bad imo. Compare to like the days of the Off-white 1's which are still going for 2k plus.

I don't own any Pandas but I don't hate them either. I can see why people wear them, they're just an easy clean shoe to wear. I never understood the hate on them. I feel like the hate probably stems from the resellers who are mad that they can't make any more money off of them or it's from the people who love announcing to everyone how "different" they are for not wearing them lol. This happens with all sneakers once they become oversaturated & no longer limited. For example the Yeezy 350s, once they became easily obtainable, people started hating on them. I mean even though there's a lot out there, the 350s are still a nice shoe & they function well, in terms of comfort. Also, AF1s will never die out, like Ralph said, it's like a denim jacket. I believe it's the same with Jordans too, there's always going to be a market for them.

@@503tradingcards Since I'm from Milwaukee & a huge Bucks fan, for hooping I only wear his shoes too lol. They're cheap but they aren't the best though, I wish Nike would get him some better designs & better material. He's arguably the best player in the NBA, so his shoes should be up there with KD & LeBron's in term of the material & the tech they put into it.

When Pandas first came out, everyone wanted them. Resell was at about $300+. People crying about why can’t Nike make more? Nike listened and did exactly what y’all said, they made more. Now that they’re accessible and everyone has them, now the culture wants to hate? Make it make sense 😂 W take on the Yeezys, it’s exactly what happened with the Pandas. It’s a black and white sneaker that can go with anything so are they really trash? Or is the reseller training mad they gotta go get real jobs now that they can’t profit off Pandas

Produce more & they'll make more money, versus the resellers making all the money. Must be more behind the business schemes that us consumers aren't seeing or understanding.

I think what he meant is that a lot of the Jordan shapes that were loved just a year or two ago are not very worn because of the absolute mass production of all of the Jordan’s. They’ve found a way to make almost every sneaker they’ve released have no hype behind it and all they had to do is make wayyyy too many GR sneakers

I hope the Kobe reselling value dies out. I mean I can understand if it's some Grinches or stuff that was always high, but not the regular GR colorways. The 8s were my favorite hoop shoe ever, so I just want some protros to hoop in & see what improvements were made. After Kobe passed, I saw so many beat GR colorways from back then on Ebay for like $500+, and I mean BEAT, like they were obviously hooped in & ran to the ground, and they were still selling.

Yup. Kobe resell was always there for the hyped up pairs. I bought a Grinch for $400 back in 2016. And the FTB 11s were at a cool $500. This is where the resell should stay at for the hyped pairs.
