Richmond Hill is bordered by Forest Park, Kew Gardens, Woodside and Richmond Hill South. Split by the LIRR tracks, Richmond Hill is a tale of two neighborhoods. To the east, bordered by the Van Wyck Expressway, is a close-knit, blue-collar community. To the west of the tracks, nestled against Forest Park, reside the sprawling mansion.
The elevated railway of Jamaica Avenue further splits the neighborhood down its middle.
