We can use 8 picks, any of our picks are worth double, pick 23 the last of day 1 trading & 24 the first of day 2 , trading in this draft are both worth 2025 first round picks & late picks back into the 2024 draft

i think Jagga or Lalor at 1 and at 6 I would take Jagga assuming he is still on the board and if not id be open to maybe taking Murphy Reid, i honestly rate him relatively highly

Agreed cause his not dusty boys, Lalor realistically 7 to 12th draft area. Mistake if we pick him 1. We will need a leader with 2 of our top 6 picks. Lucky there’s only 2 players to select from them which are clearly smith, Draper. That’s it. FOS we take 1 of them smith Draper if can’t get one at 6 gotta trade for 2 otherwise we are messing this up.

Also guys can we stop with comparing Sam Lalor to petracca or dusty they both were on ballers at his age. Reason because attributes (burst, evasiveness) with there stocky build. Sam Lalor doesn’t have that 👍

Well Smith, Draper one of them has to be selected. We need leadership (Cotchin) did. Or any team that’s on rebuild needs it. Then I don’t care for the other pick but I’d go FOS as his got most upside reasons of why midfielder, half forward, half back even. Pretty much Deledio, Isaac heeney. Far better than Ollie wines, discount petracca without burst (Sam Lalor)

@@centrehalfbench7 I'm still skeptical on Lalor, with the hamstring issues but we shall see soon enough and i am rather concerned about potentially taking Smilie at 6, i do like him as a player and it would be nice to have that Crips type player on our team but more than anything we desperately need speed and id rather take Lalor and 2 faster midfielders and 6 and 10/11 like a Murphy Reid and a Xavier Lindsay and then with the other pick whether its 10 or 11 we take Travaglia or take Jagga at 6 assuming he is on the board

Smith hands down, ideal world Richmond need FOS, Smith as most of our supporter base are being bias with SA players. Richmond trialed these guys and know FOS,Smith are the ones they want. In saying that smillie is an off chance of hitting our 3rd pick that be a steal. FOS,Smith smillie first 3 picks now that’s great balance for us to start the rebuild!

There is not much difference between Armstrong, Shannahan and Jonty where mids have a much bigger difference between potential A and B graders. Tigers need help everywhere and Taranto is the only decent mid depending on Kane McK development. Taranto disposal like 40% and we need serious pace and explosiveness as well as foot skills. No point taking Armstrong at 6, he might be also there at 10/11. Smillie still has a large ceiling if he can clean up his fumbling and get some grunt in him and learn to use his strength and size as an advantage. Dream would be Jagga Smith still being there but can’t see that happening.

This draft is so stacked it will b hard to to screw it up in the first 30 picks, in the past teams have a good idea of the draft order, this draft is a mystery, Laylor is 98% pick 1, I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to finish 18th, this draft is a gold mine

I’ll legit cancel my membership if they pick Lalor at 1. 20 years gone. That’s how certain. To slow to ever be impacting like Dustin Martin or even petracca even he can get off a stoppage. If that’s your logic, FOS has outstanding athleticism but inconsistent form (yes they both had injuries) Jagga Smith is the best player but far right now but how much room does he have to grow? Def safest pick and Sid Draper would be 2nd safest. Lalor hasn’t just focused on footy, and he is a great contested mask like FOS. Smillie is same as the club looking at potential high ceiling, not this years performance as he was inconsistent also. He needs Jagga grunt and aggressiveness in his game also and learn to use his size and strength to advantage.
