To me the only real difference between the camera mic and the cougar mic was that camera mic lacked any low end, which can be easily fixed with an EQ. The cougar mic is clearly bass boosted, but everyone does this to sound more manly on youtube.

Whilst camera mics are designed to pick up all sound everywhere, mics like the Screamer X are like condenser mics and are designed to pic up sound really close. If you watch the full review on the Screamer X you’ll see. Just adding some bass to the camera audio will sound absolutely terrible.

You need 1000 subscribers 4000 watch hours in the last running 365 day period. You get paid directly into your normal bank account in rands. Google converts essentially before paying. Eg ABSA, Standard Bank etc

It has a lot to do with the "Niche" of the video, where the viewers are watching from (Country) and other random things. All of these effect your revenue per video. Some Niches generally earn WAY more than other niches due to advertisers being pay more to have adds infront of your specific type of audience Thing like the Country your viewers are from also massively effect your revenue (CPM & RPM) If for example most of your viewers are from USA like mine, then you will generally earn a heck of a lot more. If your viewers are for example from poor countries like India, then your revenue will crash I have some videos that generate up to R6000-10000 per video per month and then I have others that only generate R500 per month. It's all over the place. Every video will also have a different CPM/RPM every single day. It's not a fixed CPM/RPM per video. It varies everyday and it also changes depending on the time of the month and the time of year

Payment via KZbin/Google is through AdSense, so straight into your bank account. Local banks like ABSA etc all work, normal eft from Google. Happens once a month, usually around the 20th to 25th. Google/Adsense doesnt pay to PayPal.

No, you are paid for the views you achieve in a calendar month from the 1st to the 31st. If you have an old video that has 12 000 views on the 1st, by the end of that month it has 15 000 views, it generated 3000 views. You get paid for those 3000 views. Add that up with 500+ videos on a channel with videos constantly getting viewed if you have good content.

Honestly if you look at it with hours, it's probably not worth it. It can take me a good 16 to 20 hours to produce 1 KZbin video. However the difference is, unlike a normal client job, these videos earn you money year after year, almost like a passive income.

Remember every KZbin tells you the majority of their income comes from channel sponsors who pay far more. They pay more too when you have more views. If your channel generates 500 000 views per month, that’s a comfy R25-R35 000 per month. Your channel sponsors with views like that will be +- $1000 per video.

The value I showed is after googles fees 👍 Also the amount Google shows it pays is direct. There is no additional bank fees or like PayPal fees. There’s also no taxes. The taxes is on you. If you’re a sole proprietor you could write most your expensive off to creating content.

You clearly don’t know how KZbin works. RPM is around $1 to $5 depending on content. Also KZbin isn’t robbing anyone. It’s an even split across all content. Advertisers pay per category. Only reason KZbin is still going strong is because their system is fair.
