Your video is very informative.... I have a 99 Kia Sportage which faiedl the inspection with code P0717. Would you be able to advice where the turbine sensor is on the Kia ? I appreciate any helpful info. Thanks very much

@campauchicken There is a steel mount under the pulley so it should never contact the subframe.Have you done a front brake job recently i ask because if the caliper is put back wrong the tire will hit the hose and make a noise.

Thank you making and showing for the informative video. You save money to car owners by troubleshooting these check engine lights. Questions : Did the scan tool give you the location of the sensor in the car once the diagnosis was made ? or what reference do you use to pinpoint the location? Can you clear the code by using the scan tool, or have to go to fuse box ? Thanks.

I have 0.1 volts on low wire and 0 volts on high wire. I have harness open and all looks fine. I have cut the wire behind the connector and same values. Do you know the pin location to the harness at the ECM? I would like to verify continuity.

@dah97765 I do not have a video on the P0420 at this time.The most common thing is the catalytic converter itself is no longer functioning properly. The other likely thing is the rear oxygen sensor is no longer working properly. Exhaust leaks forward of the cat can cause this code also.

The scan does not give me the location of the sensor i use AutoZones web site for that.You can clear the codes with this scan tool.

My 2005 Ford 500 LTD.Edition Auto 2 speed trans. comes up with AWD malfunction and amber anti skid light on the dash. Sometimes comes on after 2 minutes but last night I drove for 30 minutes before it came on and disengages my AWD. Is there a sensor for this or does the AWD require repairs? Love my car and hoping that this is not an expensive outcome.

Hey i had this code on a kia rio; checked the power ground and did a bypass test on the signal ( its a pull down design ) and everything ckecked out ok so i replaced it and run fine afterwards. Two days later it comes back with the same code. What did i miss? Is there a mechanichal variable?

@richpin06a do you have any videos / advice on code 0420 - Catalyst Efficiency below threshold (Bank 1) ? I have been told that it may be the rear oxygen sensor, but I dont know for sure.

Good video Rich, can you not use your OBDII scanner to clear the code? I have the 3120 and I can use it to turn off the MIL/CEL. :-)

Hey Rich I have a 98 Saturn SL1 and I had the same code misfire I got the mechanic to fix it when I drove it the check engine light came back on he said my Saturn has two of these speed sensors is this true or a error on his part?

You always seem to be having problems with this Saturn. Either you're creating problems so you can tape it, or it's a real POS!
