Is it just me or does Skif even sound more unhinged in this conversation when he sides with Scar? He sounds more morally authoritative and resolute in the ward dialogue but the Scar dialogue is more spiritual and preachy

As much as i would like to blame Richter for being a jerk, Skif is thrown into far corner of sides - either siding with Ward corpos or Scar's schyso club. Are there other dialogue options if you don't side with Ward or Spark (if that's even a possibe outcome)?

hes just drunk, he goes to prypiat himself later. choose either, you still gonna piss off somebody, cant win them all. game is surprisingly realistic in that regard... anyway, Id choose ward over scars nonsense anyday

The game forces you to pick sides despite trying to do a lot of gray It has good moments and makes you bend and pick sides There are good moments to give and to let go

You have a choice to choose no sides, just make sure you don't side with anyone in the major choices.

you can absolutely get different reactions from him than either of these! my first run through the main story quest ended with me siding with no one but the zone and richter - he's jealous of the zone loving you, but ultimately he doesn't really talk about the ward, spark, faust, etc. it's all about both of you and your relationship with the zone. he's super upset in it, but it's not really at you, it's at himself. i'm soooo glad i got that one over these two lmao

There is a possibility to choose no ones side (Strelok). In that case Richter still will be upset, but there were possibility to cheer him up and he is glad he saved Skif near Zalissya.
