Oh man that's genius!! FINALLY, there's a legitimate reason for actually putting a lanyard on a knife in the first place!!! 😆 So you're telling me that when you encounter a tight one, you need to stick just the tip in at first, and then slowly work it in one inch at a time, shimmying around a little bit as you get in deeper??? Dude, I been employing that technique since I was fourteen years old!! Can't say I ever did actually get STUCK in one, though!!! 🤣🤣🤣. The majority of my slips are fairly thin leather (only the ones from you are real thiccc like yo mama!), so I've never really encountered getting a knife stuck...the problem I seem to have is that I always carry all my gear/slips in the same cargo pants or jacket pocket, so they're always bouncing around off each other and get scratched up!!! Just today I carried a brand new slip for the first time and it's ALREADY got a few scratch marks on it (which always makes me cry inside just a lil bit, like that first scratch on a new car or new watch).. Man that slip with the powder blue stiching is gorgeous!!! So's that new Jack Wolf!!! Thanks for dropping the leather science of the rockets on us, Richter!!! Great video bro!!! 🔥🔥🔥

I made that deadly mistake with my first slip from you with my big bro jack!😂 when I finally got it back out I wrapped the knife with wax paper and crammed it back in and left it a couple days and now it fits like a dream!

Thanks! I’ve been doing a variant of this with a slightly larger knife but with no lanyard, and leaving about 1/2” of the handle sticking out, then repeating. Doesn’t work quite as well, but eventually works. I have this same Jack Wolf knife and was going to use their slip, but yours is so much nicer. Do you have a store where you sell these? Beautiful work. 👍 Never mind, see to send you an email, and will do! I’ve been mostly buying either the TPK small slips, or the Rosecraft ones for their blades, but what you’re showing here with that heavy leather is a cut above!

Great video! Do those thicker slips print more than the thinner slips in the front pocket of jeans? And where online do you sell slips like this? THANK YOU!!
@richterknives12 күн бұрын
I wouldn’t say they print more…about the same. I don’t sell them online. Just shoot me an email and we can work something out
