Looks like both Sam and Eddie were orphans after the events of tag der toten. Only difference is Eddie was adopted by Kraft while Sam didn’t.

My guess is Eddie took mk ultra whether willingly or not and just like the bo6 campaign a split personality formed one with the memories of both the adult versions combined. So he became twisted and Sam saw it slowly taking over entirely over the years and tried to kill him via weaver but it instead hastened the take over

this is going to sound so crazy but i cried over those audio logs. krafft is so full of love and kindness. he tried to save a poor kid from torment, only to die. he didnt want anything in return. he thought only of his late partner. that is heartbreaking

I don’t see anyone else saying this, I do not think Eddie wanted Krafft to die, he may have simply wanted the information that Krafft had about the elder gods, prima materia, the sentinel artifacts, dark aether, etc. ( just throwing this in, I have a 1 year old and I tell him stories from my past so I’m guessing Krafft did the same and Eddie realized the stories are true) I believe we are all forgetting this a completely different Richtofen that sent maxis and Samantha to the moon, the death of anyone’s family could turn them into a monster, that being said, Krafft was his adoptive parent so no I think the intention was to just beat information out of him and not have him killed in any way. Saw a comment saying evil doesn’t go away as well, while that is entirely true, this Eddie was supposed to be a purer version of all of the Richtofens. As for the nightmares, a lot of people who went through traumatic experiences and had amnesia tend to have nightmares without knowing why because it is still subconsciously there. To be honest with all of you considering how fucked up we’ve seen this sam be on some occasions (not saying she did anything super bad like Richtofen) I wouldn’t put it past her to be extremely jealous and hateful toward Eddie enough to want him to hurt bad like she did having to possibly remember everything she did to get them to that point only for him to forget her and not try to track her down or attempt contact. (Long story short Sam possibly bad and Richtofen not as bad)

Im really having a hard time wrapping my head around the death of Richtofen's family situation. Why were Sam and Weaver trying to kill him(assuming they didn't know it was Eddie) why was he a target? Then how did he become the director of Requiem? So Weaver(and Sam) need to be told they were the ones who killed his family? Because Weavers been all like "we need to get revenge on Richtofen and find out why he betrayed us and put us in prison" like it seems inconceivable to him that the Wife and Son he accidentally killed might have been Richtofen's?

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the Chaos story, but I thought it was the one of the coolest stories Treyarch had made, Zombies story in general isn't that good, only Mob of the Dead and Blood of the Dead had good story, the rest is just a jumbled mess, that's why I loved Chaos's story, because it was something new, different, fresh, and had an awesome foundation.
