The distance between Skidegate and St. John's, Newfoundland - about 8000 kilometres. It took Rick 47 years to get there.

Rick, no, you shouldn't row; you should paddle. Rowing is where the oars fit into a socket and you pull the 2 together--2 entirely different processes.
