RICK AND MORTY 2x5 Reaction - I'm Slowly but Firmly Getting Schwifty.

lmao the first two minutes of this episode TERRIFIED ME, I never ever expected to be presented with one of my main fears, which is large objects in the sky (yeah, I know it's weird) but it's ok, I survived haha. Anyways, I really liked the plot twist of the singing contest, the appearance of bird person, the parallels between headism and christianity, the songs oh and how could i forget...ice water, i mean, water t.

For me, the most amusing thing about this episode is that the real Ice T was apparently upset at first about being parodied without prior notice (it's series co-creator Dan Harmon voicing him here), but he soon changed his tune after seeing all the positive feedback his "cameo" got, lol.

So the Buffalo is probably referring to Buffalo, New York. There's a dish called buffalo wings which are a spicy pepper and vinegar based sauce on chicken wings.

Haha, well, in Latin America there are people who love spice and people who don't, just like with everything else. I feel like shows and movies really do the most to makes us all seem the same way. My dad for example, he used to love spice but the rest of our family...not so much 😂

I agree that the people of Germany, and Europe as a whole have really impressed me with their generosity and humanity. and yes, I share your fear of giant random things from space. Wasn't it like a week ago that we got hit by a rock the size of a giraffe? Rick and Morty is for sure as layered with jokes and references as the 90's Simpsons, even more so I'd say. The great thing about this show is that its infinitely rewatchable. hahaha, so Buffalo is basically just hot sauce. Its named after the town of Buffalo, New York, which claims to be the birthplace of hot wings, or as they are also known, Buffalo wings. I love Buffalo flavored foods. Also you can get actual Buffalo meat, or Bison meat here in the U.S. and Canada, I see it in jerky form at gas stations. It pretty much tastes like beef to me

its not buffalo meat. there is a sauce thats named "buffalo" that usually goes on fried chicken wings, and usually comes witha side of either ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping, to offset the heat of the spiciness.

Some movie recommendations: 1 - "A Knight's Tale" - just a really fun movie that doesn't take itself too seriously, but it's also got heart. Excellent casting as well: Heath Ledger, Alan Tudyk, Paul Bettany hamming it up in the best way possible as Chaucer. Lots of fun. 2 - "Walk Hard" - rockumentary on the life of Dewey Cox. Perfect casting, perfect writing, perfect music. Perfect 3 - "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang" - excellent comedy noir starring RDJ and Val Kilmer. Incredible writing/dialogue. 4 - "Lucky Number Slevin" - another great noir with a powerhouse cast: Josh Hartnett, Bruce Willis, Lucy Liu. A few others that... not really spoilers, but w/e, spoiler adjacent? Excellent writing/dialogue as well; not quite as funny as KKBB, it's very clever/witty rather than outright funny. Still a very good movie though (obviously, else I wouldn't recommend it). 5 - "Mr Right" - Action RomCom with the romantic leads played by one of my favorite actors Sam Rockwell at his Rockwelliest opposite Anna Kendrick; kind of a spiritual successor to Grosse Pointe Blank (not a lot of Action RomComs) Two movies that nobody has heard of (so may not do much to grow your channel), but they're VERY good. 6 - "Stretch" - a perfect Patrick Wilson vehicle (get it? Vehicle? He's a limo driver. Stretch. You get it.) A few other great actors in it; one is definitely a spoiler, I think, so I'll skip that. A great Jessica Alba performance; she doesn't do a ton but she's great with what she has (she may not be good enough to do more? I'm not sure if she's a great actress; it's just hard to tell with the material she's gotten. Or at least, that I've seen her in.) Stretch limo driver, has a bad day... I guess you can say it's a spiritual successor to Die Hard? It's just such a perfect Patrick Wilson role, and the other actor in it is *perfect*; the first time I'd seen him allowed to be really weird (similar to how Brad Pitt and Colin Farrell can be *so* interesting when they're not forced into a stereotypical leading man role). Nobody has heard of it but it's very good. 7 - "7 Days in Hell" - a perfect sports documentary. A fascinating look at one of the most grueling tennis match in history. You don't have to be a sports fan, of course (I am, but not at all a tennis fan) but it's just a great movie. Highly recommended.
