Despite some of the more groan worthy references in the ABC:s of Beth, I actually find it to be one of the better episodes. Beth realises how similar she is to Rick, she loses some of the idolisation of Rick, Beth’s best arc is started with the clone, and we see Rick’s actual real underlying cause of depression that isn’t related to Rick prime, or his wife’s murder. Rick feels that nothing truly matters, and on a deeper level he knows that he won’t gain true happiness by killing Rick Prime. The Froopy Land arc is amazing, as well. It shows how unhinged Beth is, and it’s just straight up hilarious.
