Rick Braun: What a true musician. Seen him 4 times already, and everytime, he tries to up the ante and do better. He brings rare flare of true professionalism in music, and combines it with people skills that he relates to continuously from opening to the very last note. Perfection in art with an entertainment flare that is second to none. Gotta love Euge in this video too. Another awesome musician. Thank you for putting out REAL and TRUE music.

Pierre - I love your comments about Rick Braun. I agree with you. You write very similar reviews as I do about Michael Paulo, or Sir Michael, as I've knighted the noble prince of the sax and jazz. See some of my reviews on Paulo. I think you will agree our insight into these jazz giants are very appropo.

@@scarlet8select696 How about Richard Elliot on the sax, or Bob James/Dave Grusin/David Benoit on piano/keyboard, and maybe Lee Ritenour on guitar? There are so many honorable mention wonderful smooth jazz artists who also bring a persona and chemistry to their live performances.....but Braun is certainly among the best.

@@johnmaer Your observations about all of these legendary performers are on point. I am familiar with Richard Elliot and especially David Benoit. Bob James and Dave Grusin, not so much. Still my fave is Sir Michael Paulo, because though his primary instrument is the saxophone, I have seen him play some of the most beautiful piano music I've ever had the pleasure to hear. He also plays the flute. When he plays, he plays with and efficacy, a rhythm and a certain proclivity towards slanting the music somehow, to where it feels like he is singing or talking directly to you. He also has something many others do not have, and that ingredient is soul. Having soul goes deep into the music and conveys feelings that reaches us all.

Nioolas, you know why this video does not have millions of viewers, because many people have such poor taste in music. The richness of the music that men like Rick Braun and Michael Paulo play is under-appreciated. It does not take away from the fine quality of their performances and the beautiful music they tackle when they play so well, both alone and together. But don't stress, there are enough people who have the class to appreciate good music and keep the Brauns of this world in business.
