Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, the Noise11.com 2024 interview

Cheap Trick’s first album was produced by Jack Douglas, who also produced John Lennon’s Double Fantasy. Rick Nielsen played on some of the Double Fantasy sessions.
Rick has played on records for Glen Campbell and Gene Simmons. He is also on the new Mark Knopfler album.
When last I spoke with Rick, he ran out of time talking about the work he had done because he has so much history. For this interview I picked at up where we left off last time, talking about one of his favourite UK bands The Move.
Ahead of the Red Hot Summer 2024 tour, Rick Nielsen talked to Paul Cashmere at Noise11.com.

Went to the gig in Canberra a few days ago , both The Angels and Cheap Trick were superb . Rick was throwing guitar picks like they were confetti .... and guess what ? He is still as nutty as squirrel shit 😂 Great interview BTW .
