Rick or any one else does not have to stop what they are doing. It’s commendable to use any skill you have to change your situation. However the question is, does it do more harm then good. We are all connected whether you like it or not so what we say and do matters. I’m not here to judge anyone I’m just looking at the facts. It is a fact that certain music can contribute to the demise of those you intend to inspire. There is no way around that fact. We have to learn to remove our emotions and see truth. Rick and other artist are not all bad and I don’t pretend to know their lives or why they have made certain decisions but I do know that you can’t separate the actions from the actors. They are assisting in the annihilation of so called black people.

Dee-1 is a teacher, he definitely knows that it starts with THE FAMILY. Don’t matter what Rick Ross rapping about, if the home and family is in shambles, most likely so is the children. Rick Ross and Jim Jones should have just ignored Dee-1 and continued on with their mission. Dee-1 should have used better examples of rappers. Rick Ross and Jim Jones are legacy acts with an adult fanbase. Easily 30 and up. Why not use NBA YB and Lil Durk as an example? They actually still have kids and teenagers that listen to their music. If he really cares about the influence of rappers on the youth. And it’s sad that Dee-1 had to clout chase and name drop, just to get his positive message out. I guarantee most of the people in these comments have never heard of nor listened to any of Dee-1 albums before. Myself included. Can’t name you 1 song. And I have never even spoke on him ever in life until this went viral. He said he is college educated and a teacher. Yet still he has never been on any Best Louisiana rapper list.
