What a ride, dude. Thanks for posting so all can see. I've always wanted to do this, am 71 and ride all the time, but the mud is extreme. The views of waterfalls, rivers, glaciers, animals and towns are fantastic. The everchanging weather will definitely test you in every way. You're a tough man. Thanks again.

Oh YEAH! I missed that part. Earlier in a segment you mentioned the possibility of not getting there, and turning back wasn’t a bad thing because the goal was to reach Alaska. So do tell!

Yes, it was just a passing comment in the monologue when I camped at the Arctic Circle on my 8th day. I left home on Memorial Day weekend 2012.

Yeah - one of those nasty Canadian gators! :-) No - it was a couple of beavers swatting their tails on the water when diving.

@@ricksandyfox ...Haaaaaaa, typical Brit, well we got nasty foxes here ! Well they've got Gators in Florida lol. Oh and my bike looks like yours covered in mud daily, lots of farmland around me, the cleaning drives me insane !
