A well done interview. Kudos to the interviewer for asking relevant and interesting questions and refraining from any unnecessary interruptions while his guest is talking. A lot of interviewers should take a page out of this guy's book.

Gotta love Ricks attitude. Some Americans are great world travellers and not always annoying obnoxious tourists.

Rick is a phenomenal guy. I enjoy watching his show, and it makes me want to travel even more.

This is a show. He has a producer that pays for his travel and salary. Any personal travel he does on his own is perhaps because he know how to get a good deal, he has a wife and a group that apports to the travel and because he gets paid. There is no rwason to hate. He got a great job. Good for him.

Rick Steves should be a top advisor to his own USA government, the UK government and any other government that behaves in war-like ways. When governments get the Steves message, then the deadly rhetoric will cease, and we will all be safer.

Rick is basically eating a lot of his profits with more traveling. It does however afford him to eat fancy food and stay in nice places but eventually, this will all dry up because he wont make money forever.

Not really Rick, Europeans do not 'willingly" buy bread at elevated prices in order to have it from someone "who 'makes it." Sure, everyone in the world appreciates fresh bread, but the EU sets artificially high wheat prices (much higher than world market prices), which makes the cost of food much more expensive - something Europeans complain about all the time.
