DAAAAMN THIS SCENE IS BRILLIANT!!!! I REALLY loved it when the music started and paused when they fell into that room with walkers, and then just continued with the fight and that gave me massive chills! And where Rick picked up Negan's bat, that sound effect fitted perfectly! This gave an overall feeling like Rick was 100% focused on Negan and not on the walkers around him in the room, Definetly my favorite scene from the movie that I've seen so far!

The music was probably my favorite part to add in, I've been wanting an excuse to use some nordic music for so long now, this was finally the chance to do it ;) That focus on Negan was also something I really wanted to portray. This fight scene was already really good (surprisingly) but I wanted Rick's rage to come through a little better and focus more on Negan to make it more intense when the walkers attack Rick or Negan, instead of it seeming so choreographed. I'm glad that came through really well! :D

Negan had a clean opportunity to kill Rick as soon as he got up before him and grabbed his bat. But no he decided to fix a problem that Rick caused so they could both get out. Negan obviously didn’t want to kill Rick. IMO because he admired and respected him. He gave him chance after chance to side with him fully until Negan became pretty much the mad king toward the end of season and wanted to just fucking slaughter them all.
