The reaction of Maggie when Rick told them to save Negan from dying, was one of the saddest moments in the entire show. I've never seen Maggie in such sorrow and anger.

Agreed 100%. It was unbelievable Rick did that too. Maggie watched her husband get his brains bashed in, right in front of her. And after all the shit they've done to get to Negan and kill him, Rick just tells his people to let him live. While I like Negan staying on twd in a show production viewpoint, I would've been all on board with Maggie from a story viewpoint.

@@kalinlawrence5414 it was for freedom, but that's not the point. You could get freedom with or without killing Negan. However the motivation of everyone in the show to kill Negan was so immense that neither Maggie nor I could take the fact that Rick as a leader who's seen Glenn die in such a horrible manner, instantly changed his mind and let Negan live. If I was there I'd not give a fuck all that leadership thing and blow up the Negan's head, no matter what the consequences would be. I agree with the admin though, it's good to still see him on the show.

Plus Negan was already willing to kill Carl in the Season 7 Finale with no hesitation as well as blowing him up with Alexandria in the Season 8 Midseason finale. Judith & Negan has a more convincing relationship currently. JDM even voiced his disappointment on the Carl/Negan relationship on Instagram. He said "Honestly, a huge reason I wanted so badly to join this band of misfits was because I was such a fan of the Negan Carl relationship in the comics. That storyline was one of my favorites, as I know it was one of yours. I’ll forever be dissaponted we only scratched the surface of what could have been."

Wow,this came out pretty well and my hype for the movie keeps increasing But if I may suggest something,the music does overpower moments a bit too much IMO especially when The Saviors guns literally backfire and Take What's mine starts blaring up towards the final battle between Rick and Negan Once again this is totally upto you and is your choice since it is you who is doing this monumental task of editing the entire film and I hope you didn't find this offending. The ending imo is the best,while I did like the Carl speech from the original,it doesn't exactly fit into the scene itself and changing that into Rick simply slicing Negan's jugular was a better choice and felt more true to the comic books while not being as unbelievably written as well

Criticism is always appreciated, whether it be for my tributes or for the film, feedback allows me to improve my edits ^^ And that's a good point I hadn't considered because I'm half deaf lol, I'll take a look at it! As for the ending, I completely agree. As with nearly all of season 8, the fight scenes were not designed well. The speech being there made no sense. I figured when they're both fighting each other in the FINAL battle, they'd both be full of anger and adrenaline, not talking to each other about the future 🤦‍♀️

The Warleader Productions i think you’re wrong because you can clearly see through the season that Negan never wanted a war, he never wanted to kill everyone because he believed that people are a resource, people are important in order to survive in this so when Rick talks about the future and how there can be peace between them(and he mentions Carl which Negan grew fond of him) he acknowledged it and started to cry and Rick took advantage of the opportunity of Negan letting his guard down and boom! He sliced his jugular. Unfortunately Carl had to die because it would have been the only way Rick could spare Negan and make sense. In the show Rick hated Negan a lot and expressed multiple times that HE wanted to kill him. So sparing him out of the blue wouldn’t have made sense. So what can we do that can make Rick change his mind from killing Negan and the saviors and enact peace for everyone??? Well we’re gonna need something that really touches him to the core so how about killing his only son. Let Carl give him a speech about peace and a future for ALL and so Rick would try to honor his sons last wishes and spare Negan at the end. That is why it made sense to do it at that moment of the fight scene. I do think the last battle to end the war was super short and shitty. We’re talking that this is THE battle to end the war and it lasted less than 3 minutes. It was very disappointing in my opinion but it is what it is.

The loud music is a fair point, I've had a couple people mention that and I've changed it so it's quieter in the final product! As for fitting the scene, that's a matter of perspective. Personally I think the original music was bland, uninteresting and unmemorable, but everyone has their own opinion of course! Thank you for the feedback, it's always appreciated! :D

If I’m not mistaken: that ‘shut up’ at the end was from season 2 episode 10 when Rick told Randal to shut up after he begged not to be killed.
