Karen Sherman this is the problem. Worried about the wrong details, regardless who his wife is he still is working to employ and progress black people. Putting people of color in films they otherwise wouldn’t have an opportunity for matters. Why do some people like to act like white people don’t assist in the fight and black people with white partners or any other race also can still have the black community as a priority. There are a lot of many different races that simply put any marginalized group as priority simply due to being good human beings and wanting better for all and a fair life, obviously you aren’t one of them. Woody Allen has been making movies for generations and most of his movies are based in New York City and he has never casted a person of color, not even as an extra. I just feel like how Danzel Washington, Samuel L. Jackson and countless of other successful Black men married Black women that o'l dude could've done so too. Marriage is difficult enough as it is but it helps to come home at the end of the day to somebody who can relate to the struggles that you have. For instance all these whites who call the police on Blacks for being Black in America. O'l dude's wife will never know that feeling, not even if it's written out in a script for her because it's not her struggle.
