Teamwork Whirligig Part 2

Part 2 of the whirligig build. Finishing the pieces and the assembling and mounting of the working whirligig. I have found using cut up ballpoint pen shafts to be cheap alternative to brass tubing.

I enjoyed this video. I like your style and your level of explanation/demonstration. I appreciate your thought processes. New to whirligigs. Understand why metals like copper, brass, aluminum, and stainless steel are useful to avoid corrosion. where can I get this stuff in small quantities?

Glad you enjoyed it! You can pick up brass and copper tubing of various sizes at most hobby shops, (Hobby Lobby, etc.) or your local hardware store will often carry everything you need.

You will never look at trash the same way again. I actually go out on trash day and pick up old fans, copy machines, bicycles, etc for the little metal parts, remove the interesting parts and toss the rest.
