Considering you can play here for $60 I'd say the comparison to Augusta is dead on. For most of us this is as close as we'll get to Augusta. Of course it's not going to be immaculate like Augusta but the similarities are undeniable. We have had alot of rain in Qld lately which has affected the bunker quality at every course. But considering that it looks awesome.

If you're really confident with your bunker play then it can be better than a lay-up, particularly if a lay-up is risky

In australia its common on alot of our courses that loose impediments can be removed from bunkers because of the Gumleafs and Gumnuts that can litter the ground

I'm gonna disagree with the course looking like Augusta, the greens are like postage stamps and the actual tree line looks different, comparing any good parkland course to Augusta is lazy I think
