Exactly, I had not touched a club in 15 years until I found a set of Calloway irons at a yard sale for $20. That took me to the range and then started looking for a driver, putter, and Sand or Lob wedge. I’ve come across these brands while looking on Amazon and am glad to see a decent review instead of the typical paid response.

Clean with dish soap and water. When dry, spray wd40 or gun oil on rag and oil them. Just don't dunk them in the water high enough to come up to the collar where the head meets the shaft. If that collar leaks, the club will rust from the inside out. This will make the cheap clubs last forever.

I haven’t used these particular wedge but to give them some grace, I’ve used the Cleveland RTXs and vokey sm8s in black and the color on both came off very quickly. Lasted a bit longer on Vokey, but still not long. If that’s the biggest downside (and the shaft, but slower swing speeds would be less effected), seems like a great deal for some.

Have had the rainbow finish wedge set for roughly 18 months now. I’ve played enough rounds with them that the colour is starting to fade but it looks very gradual than what the black set does, add to their charm in my bag. Interesting that you mentioned a lack of confidence in a full shot with them, as even though I’m relatively new to the game & a 20 or so handicapper I have never had confidence in a full shot, but anything 80% and down they feel amazing!

Look I am going to be honest with every average golfer wondering if they should get these. The answer is YES. I’m a 15 handicap. I started playing again recently and found the three wedges I had - a 52 Carbite, a 55 Wilson, and a 60 Vokey - were woefully old, shot grooves, and all had different feels. The Lazrus set of wedges are perfect for their price point and because they are a set, I value the consistent feel of them for now. As my game progresses, I will no doubt get fitted and start tweaking my bounce and grind for specific wedges. And hopefully, by that time these wedges will have had tremendous use in my bag. Great placeholder set for your average golfer, especially considering the price point. I am totally satisfied.

I've gamed the silver set for over a year now. Playing off a 7 handicap. Just redid the bag over the winter, putting brand new clubs in, and the wedges were the only clubs to keep their spot. They aren't Vokey's by any means, but if you're a strong wedge player, they will perform just fine. Biggest gripe would be the lack of grind/bounce options, but again, at this price point, they are actually phenomenal clubs and I'm glad to see them getting some love and recognition. If you're on the fence, they are worth the buy. I can vouch for that.

Just bought these a month ago. They have great customer service and shipped really quickly. The spin they get for me is amazing. They've allowed me to hit alot more greens, legitimately. The only downfall is the amount of dirt that gets caked in the milled face... But that's what gives it the action. 💥 -also: get the silver ones so the finish isn't a problem. Or get trippy with the rainbows and when it fades to silver it's still dope. 💪

I spent some time with these wedges and just took them out of my golf bag again. The problem for me was having a set of graphite clubs but with steel shafted wedges and the weight difference caused problems. But I'm sure they are a great set of wedges for most people.

Vokey wedges are my personal favorite. I did buy the Kirkland set after watching your video and they are very comparable. But nothing beats a Vokey

I've used the Lazrus hybrids for two years, 3-6. I love them.

What I would like to see if a comparison between a couple of wedges around this price point. The Wilson harmonized wedges, these, the Kirkland wedges and others around this price point.

He's tested all 3 seperatly and if I remember correctly he liked the Wilson the best.

I bought a set of Lazrus wedges 2 years ago and really liked them. The only issue I found was the lofts were all incorrect when put on a loft measuring tool. (I started to suspect that after I started using the Arccos caddie system.) The 52 degree? Measured 49 degrees. (Only 1 degree weaker than my Mizuno GW as it turns out) The 56 degree? Measured 52 degrees. The 60 degree? Measured 56 degrees. They're not bad wedges for what you pay for them, but as with so many things... you get what you pay for. I have two Lazrus hybrid clubs and really like them as well. I haven't put them on a loft measuring tool, and I don't intend to. They're doing what I want them to do.

This would certainly explain the longer distances Rick has hitting. Rick chalked it up to the shafts. He might be wrong lol.

@@all0utmetal735 Right - I actually thought about that while I was watching the video.

Another good recommendation for cheap wedges are the Rife RX7s can get them in all sorts of different lofts and AG do them for BOGOF £80

I have a putter from this company and it was a game changer..I had been using a odyssey two ball and the new putter feels looks and performed hands down better (im not sponsored or affiliated in any way just extremely impressed)

For a person with some savvy, just buy the set and replace the shafts with FST wedge shafts. Also, I have Callaway Mack Daddy wedges that the black finish came off fairly quickly. That's why I just buy raw wedges now.

In regards to the grips, if there is a poor grip would you not be able to get it regripped or are you not able to regrip certain clubs?
@markbell42069 Жыл бұрын
You can regrip any club. There are no limits except your wallet 👍🏻

I shoot with these wedges as well, I cannot complain about these clubs at all, nice feel and get complemented on them often

I use two of the hybrids and the 7 wood. This brand is significantly underrated for the price. I have the putter as well but it’s not replaced my Scotty. You honestly can’t go wrong with them as they have a money back guarantee.

Ive been playing for about 6 months and these are the same wedges I have. I knew they were cheap but I absolutely love them. So glad they compare to some of the best wedges out there! Thanks for the awesome review and the confidence booster!

Hey Rick! I would love to see a review on some of the Takomo Irons and Wedges. They are also a cheaper club that are on fire right now!
