I was almost fired for not getting a cocktail to actress Glenn Close fast enough. I knew a guy who was forced out of an elevator by security so Steven Segal could have it all to himself. I knew a bartender who was given specific, detailed instructions on how to prepare Robert Deniro's martini to his exact specifications, and have it properly chilled (six minutes in the freezer) and presented to him at the moment he arrived at the event.
