I think what's happening is he's using these podcasts to talk through things that are going through his head. You know like how he does loads of warm-up standup shows before he does a big show for Netflix? I think this is similar. It's like a conversation with his mates in the pub, but he's lucky enough to be getting paid to broadcast it. But it's not meant to be quality entertainment really. I mean, we all know what he can do if he really puts his mind to it, so he could make this really high quality if he really wanted to. But he doesn't want to. He just wants to chat to his mates about whatever he's currently thinking about (which is usually standup, dogs and atheism). But wouldn't you too? If someone offered you loads of money to chat about the same old shit to your mates, you'd take the money, right?

I agree on football players they are entertainers just the same as musicians film stars basically entertainers but i would say its kind of got out of control most clubs now cant even afford to buy alot of these players and pay there wages aome players now cost £150 million to buy and then they earn £1 million a week only about 5 clubs in the world can afford them it sort of needs atleast to go no further man city got bought buy basically the country of abu dhabi and they have spebt 2000 million on players 2 billion of that countries money on football players lol and thats before there wages

Slightly disappointed with how similar these episodes are, especially with these guests. Clearly not top quality draw, but to go over the same thing week after week, isn't it boring to talk about? Let alone listen to, but hey still my favourite comedian.
