According to the Bible, Noah actually took 2 of each "unclean" animal and 7 of each "clean" animal. It seems that the main distinction between "clean" and "unclean" was whether the animal was farmed and regularly eaten ("clean") by humans. Sheep were regarded in Biblical times as a "clean animal" and therefore Noah could have sacrificed one, to leave himself with 6, though how he would have fed the carnivorous animals during a long incarceration in the Ark is perhaps more of a mystery. Incidentally, forty days and forty nights in the Bible does not literally mean 40 days, but simply refers to a prolonged period of time.

If he sacrificed either one he was effectively making that animal extinct, not the best bit of joined up thinking was it. I share atheism with him, but he is wrong about Noah(or the Christians that wrote the children bible..), it was only the unclean animals there was two pair of (4 animals), the clean animals it was 7 pair of(14 animals) so it is even worse then he think.. (why this God created unclean animals that he hates is another thing..) I know many Christian people who think they are better then those who is not Christians, so for that reason i actually started to read their bible, so i could put them in their place. I discovered that not a single Christian person i know actually have read the bible they believe so strongly in, and that is probably the main reason they believe in it.. lol I just love it when some times they knock on my door and ask me if i want to hear what they have to say about it. I always pretend that i am interested, and i also know that i know the bible much better then them. (its not their hunger for facts or sense that made them religious after all..) And then i start to build up my traps for them, and make them lie about one thing after the other. I shall not write about all of them here, but just give 1 example. I ask them "surely the bible is against slavery?" and every single time they say "of course it is against it." After a lot of traps like that, i get my bible and show them how they have lied about everything they said. For example, the bible say it is completely ok to have slaves if you give them freedom after 6 years + + some more details.. lol I just love to see their face when they start to think i am the devil because i am honest... lol The more religious they are, the more they hate honesty.. lol

It was "kinds" of animals, not "species". Changes the math quiet a bit. Actual estimations are around 7,000 total animals on the ark back in that time. The Ark was over 500 feet long with 480 semi trailers worth of volume. Plenty of room and then some for the calculations. The majority of flood water came from the fountains of the great deep bursting open, not the rain itself. There are hundreds of cultures throughout time that speak of a historical flood that decimated the earth at one point. Modern day science and archeology are now pointing more and more towards the legitimate reality that a global flood once occurred in history. The actual Biblical texts are accurate and authentic, a children's book Is not. Zero contradictions.

Links to the modern day science proof please. How did Noah and his family and all the groups of two animals reproduce? It has been scientifically proven that there would not have been enough jean DNA in just two of each animal and even the seven or so people on the ark to produce healthy generations of people and animals without genetic mutations. It would also mean that Noah and his family would have to inbreed with one another over and over and there would still not be enough jean DNA variety. Also there would not have been enough room for all the food to feed the animals not to mention the amount of methane gas the animals would make making it imposable to breath below deck killing all the animals. As for the majority of the water coming from fountains of the great deep. There is no such thing the only place for water to go on earth is up into the atmosphere when it evaporates it then turns to rain clouds and rains down somewhere else. It doesn't just disappear what is on earth stays on earth!

Most dinosaurs are not that massive like the brachiosaurus, and regardless if they were of the larger or smaller kind, they likely just had babies on the ark. Much easier to manage, food control, and cargo space still wouldn't have been an issue by far.

Some are great writers of comedy, some are great comedic actors and some are great standup comics. Often we see a single comedian performing all these roles but seldom are the three skills present in abundance in single comedian. Ricky gervais is not a good standup comic. He is better at the other two. Dave Chappelle is great at all three.
